Johannes Frank

Johannes Frank (born March 2, 1880 in Rüdesheim am Rhein , † October 1, 1955 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German politician ( FDP ).

Frank studied architecture and worked as a freelance architect after completing his studies. From 1912 he studied at the trade seminar in Berlin-Charlottenburg and in 1914 became a trade teacher in Benrath. During the First World War he did military service and after the war he was again a trade teacher in Benrath. In 1921 he was transferred to Montabaur , where he was co-founder of the full-time vocational school, which had been operated as an evening school. After 1939 he worked again as an architect.

In 1936 he became a member of the National Socialist People's Welfare . After the war he became a member of the DP / FDP. In the first electoral period he was a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament for the FDP from 1947 to 1951 . In the state parliament he was chairman of the reconstruction committee (July 29, 1947 to April 12, 1950) and a member of the agricultural policy committee, main committee, budget and finance committee, cultural policy committee and economic and transport committee.
