Johannes Gobertus Meran

Johannes Gobertus Meran (born October 15, 1961 in Salzburg ) is a Roman Catholic theologian and chief physician for internal medicine at the hospital of the Brothers of Mercy in Vienna .

Life

He attended the elementary school Bad Gastein (1968–1972) and the Academic Gymnasium Salzburg 1972–1980, where he graduated with honors on June 13, 1980. He did military service (1980–1982) in the sports company of the Army Sports School (fencing). He then studied medicine and philosophy at the Universities of Vienna , Graz and Innsbruck , where he as doctor of medicine on 24 January 1987 (Dr. med. Univ.) PhD was.
