Johannes Kaiser (politician, 1958)

Johannes Kaiser (born June 29, 1958 in Eschen ) is a Liechtenstein politician . He has been a member of the Liechtenstein Parliament since 2001 .

biography

Kaiser was Vice President of the Progressive Citizens' Party from 1987 to 1991 . From 1991 to 2003 he was head of the Mauren community . Kaiser was elected to the Landtag of the Principality of Liechtenstein for the first time in 2001 for the FBP . He was re-elected in 2005, 2009 , 2013 and 2017 . As a member of parliament, he chaired the Finance Commission, one of the three standing commissions of the state parliament, from 2003 to 2009. From 2009 to 2013 he was parliamentary group spokesman for the FBP parliamentary group in the state parliament. From 2013 to 2017 he was one of the two secretaries of the state parliament. At the beginning of March 2018, Kaiser resigned from the Progressive Citizens' Party and has since been a member of the state parliament as a non-party member. In November 2019, the conflicts were resolved, whereupon Kaiser was accepted back into the party by the state board of the FBP at his request and immediately belonged to the FBP parliamentary group in the state parliament.

In March 2003, his successor in office, Freddy Kaiser, awarded him the community's Golden Medal of Merit for his services to Mauren. Kaiser is married and has two children.
