John Kichlefeldt ( also written Kihlefeldt ; born November 10 . Jul / 23. November  1901 greg. In Tallinn , Governorate of Estonia ; † 24. June 1981 in Järvakandi , Estonian SSR ) was an Estonian footballer Baltic German origin.

Career

Johannes Kichlefeldt was born in the Estonian capital Tallinn in 1901. At the age of 14 he started playing soccer at a local club. From 1918 to 1920 Kichlefeldt took part in the Estonian War of Independence against Soviet Russia . He then joined the SK Tallinna Sport . With this he won the Estonian football championship in 1921 , 1924 and 1925 . In July 1924, Kichlefeldt made his debut for the Estonian national soccer team against Sweden in Stockholm . In 1924 he took part with the national team in the soccer competitions of the Summer Olympics in Paris , where he was not used. In 1926 he completed the last of a total of nine international matches against Poland . At the age of 26, Kichlefeldt ended his football career. In World War II he served as a soldier. He survived the war and from then on worked as a police officer in the republic of Estonia, which was now part of the Soviet Union, where he died in Järvakandi in 1981 .
