Johannes Oldsen
Johannes Oldsen (born April 13, 1894 in Lindholm ; † September 30, 1958 ) was a politician of the Frisian minority and worked in the South Schleswig voter association (SSW) in Schleswig-Holstein .
Oldsen was one of the most vehement representatives of the national Frisians during the Weimar Republic . In contrast to the Frisians who call themselves Germans in the North Frisian Association, the national Frisians take the view that the Frisians are a separate people or nation. Oldsen was therefore involved early on in the Frisian minority in North Frisia and was also active in local politics. In 1933, Oldsen was the only member of the district assembly to oppose harmonization by the National Socialists.
After the war, Johannes Oldsen was one of the founding fathers of the SSW, the party of the Danish minority and the national Frisians in the Schleswig region . In 1946/47 he was a member of the state parliament in the second appointed state parliament of Schleswig-Holstein .
