Johannes Richard zur Megede (born September 8, 1864 in Sagan / Lower Silesia , † March 22, 1906 in Bartenstein / East Prussia ) was a German writer .

Life

Johannes Richard zur Megede was originally an officer . He later took up studies in law , aesthetics and oriental studies , which he broke off. From 1895 he worked as a publishing editor at the Deutsche Verlags-Anstalt .

Johannes Richard zur Megede was the author of novels , short stories and plays . His widely read social novels are mainly located in East Prussia .
