Johannes Sassenroth (* 1978 in Mainz ) is a German radio presenter , speaker, comedian and reporter .

Life

From 1998 to 2003 Sassenroth studied sociology , communication science and politics at the University of Augsburg . He completed his studies with a Magister Artium .

Sassenroth has been the spokesman for the television program checkeins since 2008 . From August 2009, Sassenroth presented the afternoon show Der Sassenroth for the youth broadcaster of the Hessischer Rundfunk YOU FM, for which he reported, among other things, from a Bundeswehr camp in Afghanistan. Since November 2013 he has also presented the talk show Lateline . From 2012 to 2015 Sassenroth also moderated the afternoon show "1LIVE with Freddie and the Sassenroth" with Freddie Schürheck on 1 Live . Since November 2015 he has been a presenter at the radio station hr3 .

Sassenroth lives in Frankfurt am Main .

While working for You FM, he received the German Radio Prize in September 2013 in the “Best Interview” category.
