Johannes Trienes

Johannes Trienes (born August 30, 1917 , † July 22, 2000 ) was a German ministerial official and manager.

Career

The engineer with a doctorate was ministerial director in the Federal Ministry of Defense under Hans Apel and head of the armaments technology department there.

In 1980 he moved to the board of directors of the US company Borg Instruments , which was majority owned by the German arms company Diehl . The change was a process of checking whether Trienes was involved in procurement decisions in favor of the Diehl group during his activity in the ministry. As an employee of Diehl, he promoted the connection between MBB and Diehl in the rocket technology company .
