Johannes Zweytick

Johannes Zweytick (born May 24, 1961 in Wagna , Styria ) is a winemaker and politician . Zweytick was a member of the National Council ( ÖVP ) from 1994 to 2008 and mayor of Ratsch an der Weinstrasse from 1999 to 2014 .

biography

After attending compulsory school in Ratsch and Gamlitz , further training took place at the Silberberg agricultural college for viticulture and fruit growing from 1976–1979, and the master's examination to become a viticulture and cellar master took place in 1983.

In 1999 he became mayor of the municipality of Ratsch. In the XIX. Zweytick entered the National Council on December 15, 1994. On October 27, 2008 he withdrew from parliamentary work. He held the office of mayor until the dissolution of the municipality of Ratsch as part of the Styrian municipal structural reform at the end of 2014. Since then, he has been Vice Mayor of the new community of Ehrenhausen an der Weinstrasse .
