John Bell (actor, 1997)
John Bell (born October 20, 1997 in Paisley , Scotland ) is a Scottish actor .
Life
He has been taking acting classes since he was 6 years old. Bell began acting in Glasgow at the age of seven . After a small role as Creet in 2007 in the Doctor Who episode Utopia , he played his first film role in 2009 in the film A Shine of Rainbows . After John Bell starred in various television films and series, he took on roles in the two 2012 films Anger of the Titans and Battleship . He attends the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland . In The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies , he took on the role of Bain . In 2016 he was cast in the role of young Ian Murray in Outlander .

- In 2006 he won the Blue Peter competition for his role in Doctor Who.
