John Bromfield

John Bromfield (actually Farron Bromfield ; born June 11, 1922 in South Bend , Indiana ; † September 18, 2005 in Palm Desert , California ) was an American actor .

Life

Bromfield was a typical western hero in the US TV series. He made his film debut in 1948 in the thriller You are still alive 105 minutes (OT: Sorry, Wrong Number ). He was best known in the 1950s with the series productions The Sheriff of Cochise and US Marshal. The series had 40 million viewers a week. He also played in some movies. He ended his acting career in 1960, with the expiry of the TV series US Marshal (60 episodes, originally Sheriff of Cochise ), and turned to the fishing industry .

Bromfield was married to actress Corinne Calvet from 1948 to 1954 and to actress and dancer Larri Thomas from 1955 to 1959 .
