John Gray (producer)
John Gray (* in Brooklyn , New York City ) is an American screenwriter and director .
Life
Gray began his career in 1982 directing the television series Powerhouse . The series, in which Henry Winkler appeared, was discontinued after eight episodes. In 1986 he directed the film drama Billy Galvin with Lenny Von Dohlen and Karl Malden in the leading roles, based on his own script . From the late 1980s he worked as a director and screenwriter on several television films, including Hunley - Dive into Death and Helter Skelter . In 1996 he made one of his few feature films with Steven Seagal in the leading role .
In 2005 Gray developed the series Ghost Whisperer - Voices from Beyond . Until 2010 he worked on the series as a director, producer and consultant. He has been married to film producer Melissa Jo Peltier since 2006, and the marriage resulted in one child.
