John M. Mundy

John M. Mundy (born September 2, 1952 in Ottawa ) is a former Canadian diplomat .

Life

John M. Mundy is the son of Denise Shirley Dolphin and David Beattie Mundy. He married Leannc Elizabeth Fraser Carson their children are Karyn, Geoffrey and Kristen. John M. Mundy received his bachelor's degree from Queen's University (Kingston) in 1973 and his master's degree in business administration from the University of Western Ontario in 1977 . He speaks a French language certified in Dijon in 1974 .

  • On June 10, 1999, he received exequatur as consul general in Sydney .
  • On April 13, 2007 he was appointed ambassador to Tehran , where he was asked to leave Iran on December 3, 2007.
  • In 2008 he was retired .
  • In 2012 he joined the Center for International Policy Studies at the University of Ottawa as a partner.
