John Newland

John Newland (born November 23, 1917 in Cincinnati , Ohio , † January 10, 2000 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American film director , actor , producer and screenwriter .

biography

Newland has acted in 104 episodes of television series , including Studio One , Robert Montgomery Presents , General Electric Theater, and Dr. Kildare . At the same time he developed into a director for television series, including Thriller , Spaceship Enterprise , Police Woman and Computer Kids .

The television series The Man Who Never Was , with Robert Lansing in the lead role, was produced between 1966 and 1967 and was created by John Newland. The same goes for the television film Im Schatten des Triumphbogen (1984/85).

John Newland died of a stroke .
