John Pease Sanderson
John Pease Sanderson (born November 28, 1816 in Sunderland , Bennington County , Vermont , † June 28, 1871 in Manhattan , New York City ) was an American politician in the 19th century .
Sanderson held a seat in the House of Representatives in 1843 and a seat in the Florida Senate in 1848 . He represented Florida in 1861 at its Secession Convention and in 1862 in the Provisional Confederate Congress . He worked there from February 6, 1862 to February 17, 1862.
