John Virapen
John Virapen (born 1943 as a child of Indian immigrants in British Guiana ; † April 26, 2015 ) was the manager of the pharmaceutical companies Eli Lilly and Company (1980 to 1988 managing director) and Novo Nordisk , who wrote a story in German in 2006 under the pseudonym John Rengen Manipulated drug approval. The novel Rubio spits it out. A story from a Pharma-Insider shows parallels between the main character and the author.
