John Williams (born October 7, 1972 in Melbourne ) is an Australian squash player who has lived in Switzerland since 1997 .
Career
John Williams began his professional career in 1996 and won six titles on the PSA World Tour , including the Grasshopper Cup . His highest placement in the world rankings was 15th in April 2001. With the Australian national team in 2001 he was world champion . Since Williams has been living in Switzerland for many years, he was able to switch to the Swiss federation, so that he competed for the Swiss national team at the 2011 World Cup and between 2007 and 2013 at a total of six European Championships .
From 2002 to 2005 John Williams was the coach of the Swiss women's national team, and since 2005 he has been coaching the Swiss men. From 2002 to 2006 he was also responsible for both Liechtenstein national teams .
