The Johnson Glacier is a glacier on the Ruppert Coast of the West Antarctic Marie Byrd Land . It flows north between McDonald Heights and Bowyer Butte and flows into the Getz Ice Shelf .

The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy between 1959 and 1965. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1966 after Roland L. Johnson, boatswain's mate in the United States Navy and crew member of the icebreaker USS Glacier during the exploration this stretch of coast between 1961 and 1962.
