Jolina Mennen

Jolina Mennen (born September 3, 1992 in Bremen ) is a German Youtuber , influencer and blogger . She gained fame through make-up videos on YouTube and the open treatment of her transsexuality , which not least made her one of the most famous transsexual Youtubers in Germany , Austria and Switzerland.

Life

Mennen grew up with her grandmother in Bremen and passed the general university entrance qualification in 2010. Then she worked in various restaurants and began to study Spanish and fine arts for teaching. During her studies, she spent half a year in Barcelona . However, she broke off her studies after a year. Mennen began actively to shoot blogs and make-up videos on Youtube in 2012. She now has almost 300,000 subscribers on YouTube, making her one of the most successful influencers in Germany. On August 30, 2019, she released her autobiography, which is called Storytime . The publication was successful, she was on the Spiegel bestseller list and gave several autograph sessions in the branches of the bookseller Hugendubel in Bremen and Cologne.

Operations

The so-called gender reassignment was a big, but also important step for Jolina Mennen, she underwent three operations in total:

• 1. Facial feminization at Dr. Bart in Belgium , February 2017
• 2. Breast augmentation in early 2018
• 3. Gender reassignment in Munich , early 2019

criticism

Mennen was criticized several times in 2018 because she used her YouTube channel as an advertising space for various diet companies, including Shape World , and thus, according to critics, is a bad role model for her underage followers. Mennen himself has not yet commented on the allegations.

Private

Mennen has been in a relationship with the 14 years older Youtuber Florian Mennen since 2010. In 2019 the couple married for the second time.
