The Jollie Range is a mountain range in the Canterbury region of the South Island of New Zealand .
geography
The Jollie Range is located southeast of the glacier regions of the New Zealand Alps , between the Sinclair River and the Kirk Stream , with the Armory Range behind in the west and the Lawrence River , with the mountains of the Potts Range and the Arrowsmith Range in the east. The mountain range is bounded to the north and northeast by the Rakaia River and to the southwest by the Clyde River, which flows southeast between the estuaries of the Sinclair River and the Lawrence River .
The approximately 22 km long mountain range, which runs in an arc from south via northeast to east, finds its highest point with the 2628 m high North Peak . 54 other peaks of the mountain range are over 2000 m .
Administratively, the Jollie Range belongs to the Ashburton District .
