Jon Sine (born October 13, 1987 , real name Jonathan Piesche ) is a German music producer and DJ from Düsseldorf . On his YouTube channel with 100,000 subscribers, he reports daily about his life as an artist. He is also the founder of the music label AXSENS .

Career

At the age of 14, Jonathan Piesche started his music career collecting hip-hop records. At that time his stage name was DJ Sine . When he switched to the electronic dance music genre , he changed his name to Jon Sine . In 2010 he released his first song Toulouse .

In the following years he released one song after the other on various labels, including Get Physical Music, Kindisch, Soulfooled, Emma Music, Suara, Save Room Recordings, Hope Recordings and Soave Records.

Since he was now established in the music scene, he decided to found his own music label AXSENS , on the one hand to publish music himself, but also to support up-and-coming artists.

Jon Sine has several songs that have received over a million views on Spotify ; his biggest hit was the deep house track Dawning in 2016 with more than 3 million plays. He can also be found repeatedly on the Beatport charts.

Jon Sine played as a resident in the Silq, also in the boathouse in Cologne and at festivals such as Parookaville , World Club Dome and Melt Festival.

For a while Jon Sine moderated his own radio show called bigUNDERGROUND at bigFM in Saarbrücken .

In addition to his musical expertise as a music producer and DJ, his biggest success factor is his YouTube channel with 100,000 subscribers. There he reports daily on how he produces his music, what challenges the music scene presents, and gives beginners and advanced players tips on how they can improve.

Jon Sine gave a talk at the dancefair in 2019 about creating a vocal house track and how to find your own way in the music industry.

In January 2020, several memes with photos of Jon Sine posted on the Instagram page 'music_producer_memes' went viral .

His song About You was released in February, building on the success of his previous releases.
