Jonas Benson Okoye

Jonas Benson Okoye (born January 25, 1963 in Kaduna , Nigeria ) is a Nigerian clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Awka .

Life

Jonas Benson Okoye was ordained a priest on August 29, 1992 .

Pope Francis appointed him titular bishop of Masclianae and auxiliary bishop in Awka on May 30, 2014 . The Apostolic Nuncio in Nigeria, Archbishop Augustine Kasujja , donated him the episcopal ordination on August 29 of the same year. Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Onitsha , Valerian Okeke , and the Bishop of Awka, Paulinus Chukwuemeka Ezeokafor .
