Valerian Okeke
Valerian Maduka Okeke (born October 20, 1953 in Unudioka , Nigeria ) is Archbishop of Onitsha .
Life
The Archbishop of Onitsha, Francis Arinze , ordained him a priest on July 11, 1981 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him coadjutor archbishop of Onitsha on November 9, 2001 . He was ordained bishop by the Apostolic Nuncio in Nigeria , Osvaldo Padilla , on February 9, 2002; Co- consecrators were Albert Kanene Obiefuna , Archbishop of Onitsha, and Anthony Okonkwo Gbuji , Bishop of Enugu .
After Albert Kanene Obiefuna's resignation , he succeeded him on September 1, 2003 in the office of Archbishop of Onitsha.
