Jonas Hans Ernelind (born March 31, 1976 in Gothenburg ; † February 25, 2011 there ) was a Swedish handball player .

Ernelind started in his youth at the Swedish club IK Sävehof , with whose men's team he later played in the Elitserien . In 2000 he signed a contract with the German Bundesliga club THW Kiel . After just one season in Kiel, he joined the league rivals VfL Bad Schwartau at. A year later, the Bundesliga license passed from VfL to HSV Hamburg , for which he was active for two more years. In 2004 Ernelind moved back to his homeland, back to IK Sävehof, with whom he won the Swedish championship in 2005. In 2006 he ended his active career there.

For the national team of Sweden , Ernelind played 104 A-internationals, in which he scored 266 goals.

He died of skin cancer on February 25, 2011 at the age of 34 .
