youth

At the same time Schweigart was active for the national selection of the Lower Saxony handball association and played several seasons together with talents born in 1996 for the national cup.

HSG Varel-Friesland

After his second A-youth year Schweigart received his first professional contract with HSG Varel-Friesland in the 3rd league (handball) . Initially used as a supplementary player, the talent developed into an increasingly important force for the Vareler offensive and was able to reach 12th place in the table with numerous assists and goals.

OHV Aurich

After his first season in the men's division, Schweigart decided to move to the Wilhelmshavener HV, who was promoted to the 2nd handball Bundesliga last season. Equipped with a second game right , however, the right-hander mostly played for OHV Aurich in the 3rd division, where he quickly developed into an important regular player. As the head of the team, Schweigart scored 114 goals this season and skillfully staged his teammates with many allusions and achieved relegation with the OHV. In addition, Schweigart was used three times in the 2nd handball Bundesliga at the Wilhelmshaven AGM.

Wilhelmshaven HV

After two years in the 3rd league, Schweigart received a contract for the 2nd handball Bundesliga at Wilhelmshavener HV for the 2016/17 season without a second game right. As before, he is used in the middle back position.

In the 2016/2017 season Schweigart only made a few short appearances and scored 3 goals in the league. In order to get more match practice, it was decided at the end of the season to resume the previously proven second match right with OHV Aurich. Therefore, in the 2017/2018 season, the middle man plays primarily with the OHV in the 3rd division and continues to support the WHV with short assignments in division 2.
