Miladin Kozlina (born February 11, 1983 in Celje ) is a Slovenian handball player . His body length is 1.98 m.
Kozlina is active for the Slovenian national team (shirt number 2). At the beginning of his career he was mainly used on the left wing , but now he is playing more and more in the left back space due to his increased throwing power .
Miladin Kozlina began playing handball with the Slovenian series champion RK Celje in his hometown. In 2003 he made his debut in the first Slovenian league and since then has won the Slovenian championship in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007, the Slovenian Cup in 2004, 2006 and 2007 and, as the highlight in 2004, the EHF Champions League . In his early years he was mostly second choice behind Siarhei Rutenka and later Sjarhej Harbok , but since Harbok left in 2007 he was one of the leading players on his team. Between February 2011 and June 2011 Kozlina played for the German Bundesliga club FRISCH AUF! Goeppingen . He then signed a contract with the Macedonian first division club RK Metalurg Skopje , which was not renewed in the summer of 2013. After Kozlina had cured a shoulder injury, he joined local rivals RK Vardar Skopje in November 2013 . From 2014 to 2017 Kozlina was under contract with the German club GWD Minden , with whom he was relegated from the Bundesliga in the 2014/15 season and rose again a year later. In October 2017, the German second division club HC Rhein Vikings signed him. In January 2019, he moved to league competitor Wilhelmshavener HV .
Miladin Kozlina has so far played 117 international matches for the Slovenian national team.
