Jonathan Zydko (born January 12, 1984 in Metz ) is a former French football player .

Career

Zydko began his career as a football player in his home country, from where he moved to FC Metz at the age of 16 in 2000 . Until 2003 he played in the youth teams, before he outgrew them and then came to use for the reserve team. In 2004 he moved abroad to the then German regional league team VfR Aalen . He played his first game for Aalen on August 22, 2004 in the first-round game of the DFB Cup against 1. FSV Mainz 05 (2: 5). In the league, however, he could not prevail and completed only three of 18 missions over the full 90 minutes. In the following season he completed twelve league appearances, but only played five times.

For the second half of the 2005/06 season, second division club 1. FC Saarbrücken . Zydko was initially only used in the second team and fought for a regular place. On May 20, 2006, he scored his first goal for the second team in a 3-1 win against Hassia Bingen . In the 2006/07 season, Zydko also played in the first team, which is now playing in the regional league; in the Regionalliga Süd, however, he came to 20 games without scoring, in which Zydko only played in four games over 90 minutes, and rose with the first team in the league. In the league season 2007/08 Zydko fought for a regular place and completed 33 missions and missed the direct return to the league. In the summer of 2008 Zydko joined the first Luxembourg League at UN Käerjéng ​​97 for the new season . There he won a regular place and was used in 20 games (one hit). After only one year, Zydko returned to 1. FC Saarbrücken, who played again in the regional league, and rose to the 3-league with FCS . He made his professional football debut on matchday 1 (July 23, 2010) when he was substituted on for Giuseppe Pisano in the 63rd minute in the 2-0 defeat by Kickers Offenbach . For the 2011/12 season he moved back to the Luxembourg BGL Ligue to his former club UN Käerjéng ​​97 . After three seasons he moved to Jeunesse Esch and in January 2016 he went to FC Monnerich for an honorary doctorate . He ended his career in the summer of 2017.
