Jordan Quinn Larson (born October 16, 1986 in Fremont , Nebraska ) is an American volleyball player . She won the Olympic silver medal in 2012, the World Championship in 2014 and the Olympic bronze medal in 2016.
Career
Larson began her career at Logan View High School in Hooper, Nebraska . In 2004 she won the NORCECA championship with the US youngsters and in the following year she took part in the Junior World Championship. During her studies she played on the team at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 2005 to 2008 . In 2009, the universal player made her debut in the senior national team . In the same year she first played for Vaqueras de Bayamón before moving to Russia for VK Dynamo Kazan for the 2009/10 season. In 2010 she won the Russian Cup with Kazan. She won the Grand Prix with the national team . In 2011, Larson became Russian champion and managed to defend his title at the Grand Prix with the US team . The USA also won the NORCECA championship and finished second in the World Cup . In 2012 Kazan succeeded again in the Russian championship and also took third place in the Champions League . After the third Grand Prix victory in a row, Laron took part in the 2012 Olympic Games and won the silver medal with the USA.
