Jordan Renzo (born February 11, 1993 ) is an actor .

Career

Renzo completed his acting training at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama . In February 2014, during his last school year, Renzo appeared in the school play Heinrich V , in which he also played the title role. Renzo sings ( tenor ) and learned to fight on stage . In 2015 Renzo starred in the short film Ella . A year later he played one of the leading roles in the film The Chosen - Heroes of the Resistance ( Chosen ), set in World War II. In the same year Renzo was as Matteusz Andrzejewski in Doctor Who - spin-off class cast. Renzo's character Matteusz falls in love with the alien Charlie. Therefore, Matteusz has to learn to cope with his own feelings. He also has to deal with the fact that Charlie is an alien pretending to be human. Further, Matteusz's deeply religious parents do not accept the relationship. Renzo later stated that with the help of his co-star, Greg Austin, it was very easy to portray the gay relationship and that he believes it is no different from the other relationships on the series. Although never mentioned in the opening credits, Renzo's character Matteusz has been featured as the main character on several occasions by the BBC. Renzo spoke this role again in 2018 in a six-episode series of radio plays by Big Finish . In the same year it was announced that Renzo Charlie Brandon would play in the American television series The Spanish Princess .
