Jordan Township is a township in Antrim County , Michigan, United States . In 2000 there were 875 residents in Jordan Township.

According to the United States Census Bureau , the township has a total area of ​​91.7 km², of which 91.5 km² is land and 0.2 km² (= 0.20%) is water.

The town of Chestonia 45 ° 3 '37 "  N , 85 ° 4' 39"  W originally stood near the intersection of what is now the M-66 and East Old State Road. It was founded when the Detroit and Charlevoix Railroad built a train station here. Not far from there was a post office that existed until the 1960s. Today Chestonia is a desert ; none of the buildings are left and the embankments overgrown by trees and bushes are hardly recognizable.

At the time of the United States Census 2000, Jordan Township was inhabited by 875 people. The population density was 9.6 people per km². There were 433 housing units at an average of 4.7 per km².
