Jorge E. Guajardo González (born October 12, 1969 in Monterrey , Nuevo León ) is a Mexican ambassador .

Life

Jorge Eugenio Guajardo González is a Bachelor of International Relations from Georgetown University Masters in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School . He is married to Paola Sada, their children are Beatriz Benedicta and Jorge Guajardo Sada. From 1974 to 1997 he worked for the public relations agency Hill & Knowlton in Washington DC, later with Burson-Marsteller . He is a member of the Partido Acción Nacional (Mexico) . From 1997 to 2000 he led public relations for the government of Fernando Canales Clariond in the state of Nuevo León and sought support from entrepreneurs for the presidential candidacy of Vicente Fox.In 2005 he became consul in Austin, Texas under the administration of Vicente Fox. He made fundraising for the election campaign of Felipe Calderón . During the tenure of Calderon he was first deputy of his predecessor as ambassador to Beijing .
