Jori Rantahakala (born April 9, 1990 ) is a former Finnish biathlete .

Jori Rantahakala made his international debut in 2008 at the Junior World Championships in Ruhpolding . In the individual he finished 18th in the sprint he was 27th and 54th in the pursuit race. In the relay race, he finished 16th with his team. His first performance was at the 2009 Summer Biathlon World Championships in Oberhof , where he finished eleventh with Laura Toivanen , Mari Laukkanen and Sami Orpana . In the sprint he competed in the juniors. In 2010 the Finn started at his second Junior World Championship in Torsby , where he was 58th in the sprint, 53rd in the pursuit and eleventh in the relay. Shortly afterwards, he also started in the junior races of the 2010 European Biathlon Championships in Otepää , where he was 12th in the sprint and 18th in the pursuit. Later in the year Rantahakala started in Duszniki-Zdrój at the junior races of the Summer Biathlon World Championships 2010 , where he finished 24th in the sprint and 25th in the pursuit. The next big event was the Biathlon Junior World Championships 2011 in Nové Město na Moravě . The Finn started in the individual, where he was 67th, and in the relay race, where he just missed a medal in fourth place. Shortly before, he took part in the IBU Cup races for the first time in the same place and finished 92nd in an individual and 94th in a sprint.
