José Americo Bubo Na Tchuto

José Americo Bubo Na Tchuto (born June 12, 1949 in Incalá ) is a military man from Guinea-Bissau . From 2003 to 2008 he was Chief of Staff of the Navy in his country.

Life

Bubo Na Tchuto has been considered a drug lord by the US since 2010 . and accused by US authorities of drug smuggling since April 2010. His accounts in the US have since been frozen.

At Christmas 2011, José Americo Bubo Na Tchuto was arrested along with 25 other military personnel. He was charged with attempting a coup during the medical absence of President Malam Bacai Sanhá .

Bubo Na Tchuto was part of a day previously set in motion on April 3, 2013 transaction, along with four other citizens of Guinea-Bissau on a boat in international waters near the Exclusive Economic Zone of the Republic of Cape Verde by agents of the US law enforcement agency DEA arrested on on the island of Sal and brought to the USA in a plane waiting at the international airport . He has to expect a lawsuit there. According to the prosecution, he proposed false deliveries of military accessories such as uniforms to smuggle tons of cocaine to the west coast of Africa. In exchange, the DEA agents disguised as members of the FARC were to receive weapons, including surface-to-air missiles . According to the indictment, a 13 percent commission was charged for the organization.
