José Castillo (actor)
José Castillo (completely Josep Castillo i Escalona , born February 14, 1921 in Barcelona , † August 30, 2011 ) was a Spanish actor , playwright and theater director .
Life
Castillo wrote a number of plays, especially in the late 1950s, most of which premiered in his hometown. These include Vendaval , the one-person piece Quizas mañana and Gulliver en la luna .
His acting career in film and television began in 1964; in addition to cinema roles, he often played for television series. At times he had his own acting company at the Teatro a Domicilio in Barcelona.
