José Daniel Guerrero (born November 18, 1987 in Guadalajara , Jalisco ), also known by the nickname Chepe , is a Mexican football player who mainly acts in midfield .

Life

"El Chepe" Guerrero played for much of his active career at Club Atlante , for which he completed his first game in the Mexican top division on September 9, 2006 in a home game against Club Atlas , which was lost 2-0. He scored his first goal in the first division on January 24, 2009 in a home game against Monarcas Morelia , which was won 2-0.

In the Apertura 2007 he won the Mexican championship title with the Atlantistas and in the 2008/09 season he won the first edition of the newly formed CONCACAF Champions League with a final victory against Mexican league rivals Cruz Azul .

Before the 2014/15 season , he moved to former city ​​rivals Club América , with whom he immediately won another championship title in Apertura 2014 and at the end of the same season was able to look forward to winning the CONCACAF Champions League again.
