José Daniel Guerrero (born November 18, 1987 in Guadalajara , Jalisco ), also known by the nickname Chepe , is a Mexican football player who mainly acts in midfield .

Life

"El Chepe" Guerrero played for much of his active career at Club Atlante , for which he completed his first game in the Mexican top division on September 9, 2006 in a home game against Club Atlas , which was lost 2-0. He scored his first goal in the first division on January 24, 2009 in a home game against Monarcas Morelia , which was won 2-0.

In the Apertura 2007 he won the Mexican championship title with the Atlantistas and in the 2008/09 season he won the first edition of the newly formed CONCACAF Champions League with a final victory against Mexican league rivals Cruz Azul .
