José Francisco Cevallos Enríquez (born January 18, 1995 in Guayaquil ) is an Ecuadorian football player on the position of midfielder , who is currently on loan from LDU Quito to Juventus Turin .
He is the son of the long-time soccer goalkeeper and almost 90 times Ecuadorian team player as well as the current Ecuadorian sports minister José Francisco Cevallos senior , who ended his active career as a soccer player in 2011 at the age of 40. His uncle Alex Cevallos was also active as a football goalkeeper at club and national team level for many years and ended his active career around 2003.

Club career
José Francisco Cevallos junior, who was born into a footballing family in the largest city in Ecuador at the beginning of 1995 and named after his father of the same name, began his active career as a footballer at a young age, when at first he probably belonged exclusively to his home club Panamá Sporting Club . After playing a few more games in the club's U-12 team in 2007, he left this at the turn of the year 2008 and instead switched to the junior division of the successful capital city club LDU Quito , where he quickly found his way through the various youth division, but in his first year was mainly used in the U-14 team by bringing it to 13 championship appearances. Since 2011, Cevallos has been an integral part of the Ecuadorian U-17 national team , where he has been a regular player in the team's attack line from the start and is also very successful as a goalscorer.
