José Ribas

José Ribas (born October 1, 1899 in São Paulo , Brazil , † after 1933) was an Argentine athlete .

Career

The 1.70 m tall Ribas took part in the South American Championships several times as a medium and long-distance runner . He also took part in the 1932 Olympic Games in Los Angeles , where he finished eleventh over 10,000 meters and also started in the marathon.

Overall, in addition to the aforementioned Olympic placement, he was able to achieve the following successes at South American Championships:
