José Triana (athlete)
José Triana Matamoros (born November 30, 1948 in Florida , Camagüey Province ) is a former Cuban sprinter .
In 1969 he won silver over 100 m at the Central American and Caribbean Athletics Championships .
At the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, he reached the semifinals in the 4 x 100 meter relay .
In 1973 he won silver over 100 m again at the Central America and Caribbean Championships, and in 1974 he won silver over 100 m and bronze over 200 m at the Central America and Caribbean Games .
At the Pan American Games in Mexico City in 1975 , he won silver in the 4 x 100 meter relay .
