José Valdez El Cocodrilo
José Valdez (born June 1, 1947 in León , Guanajuato ), also known as Pepe Valdez or by his nickname Cocodrilo , is a former Mexican football player on the position of a striker .
career
Valdez began his professional career in the 1965/66 season at his hometown club Club León , with whom he won the Mexican Cup and the Supercup twice in a row in the 1970/71 and 1971/72 seasons .
For the 1974/75 season he moved to Club America , with which he won the Mexican football championship in the following season 1975/76 . In the 1978/79 season he let his active career at Atlético Potosino end.
He has been a talent scout for his former América club since the 1990s.
