Josée Lorsché

Josée Lorsché (born September 9, 1961 in Dudelange ) is a Luxembourg politician ( déi gréng ) from Bettembourg . She is a teacher by profession.

Her many years of work as a teacher and the anti-nuclear power movement of the 80s prompted Josée Lorsché to get involved in the field of social and environmental policy . Other important issues for her are the integration of people with disabilities , care for the elderly, rights of homosexual people and equality between men and women .

Community politics

Josée Lorsché joined the Bettemburger Municipal Council in 2005 . In 2011 she became a lay judge .

State politics

On July 6, 2011, Josée Lorsché was sworn in as a member of the Chambre des Députés , where she replaced Jean Huss . She was later re-elected in the chamber elections on October 20, 2013 in the southern district.

She is President of the Commission du Développement durable in der Chambre and Vice-President of the Commission de la Santé, de l'Egalité des chances et des Sports. Josée Lorsché lives in Noertzange (municipality of Bettembourg)
