Joschi Dancsecs

Joschi Dancsecs (* 21st March 1951 in Güssing , Burgenland as Josef Walter Dancsecs ) is an Austrian film producer , cameraman , teacher and artist .

Life

Dancsecs completed an apprenticeship as a carpenter in 1969. From 1979 to 1988 he worked for Interunfall Versicherung (merged with Generali Versicherung since 2005 ). In 1985 he founded his own film production company "Dancsecs". From 1989 to 2000 he ran an advertising agency.

Dancsecs has been in the film industry since 1985. He works as a cameraman for the ORF, also as a freelance film producer and after 1988 was a professional group representative for the film industry. He has been painting since 2004. But he also worked on Universum broadcasts and has been reporting for ORF for decades. Since 2004 he has been teaching the practical subject of camera work as a teacher at the HBLA Oberwart .

  • 1985 to 2000: Live broadcasts of the state party congress of the SPÖ , the economic association and the ÖVP .
  • 1990 Production of the first broadcast of the Hungarian magazine Adj'Isten Magyarok on ORF 2
  • 1993 Film about Unger Stahlbau (dubbed in eight languages)
  • 1997 film about Siegfried Dohr
  • 2016 film project about schools on the subject of "reading" for a reading conference

Exhibitions

Since 2004 Dancsecs has also presented itself publicly as an artist. Current exhibition: 2016 "65 years OSG - 65 years Joschi Dancsecs" - exhibition of acrylic paintings in the office of the Oberwart housing association. He also took the opportunity to show his works in public institutions in Burgenland.

Awards

Dancsecs received an award from the President of the Chamber of Commerce, Peter Nemeth, on November 16, 2015 in Oberwart to mark its 30th company anniversary.
