Siegfried Dohr

Siegfried Dohr (born October 2, 1934 in Klagenfurt ; † September 12, 2010 ) was an Austrian trade unionist ( GÖD ) and politician ( ÖVP ).

After graduating from high school, Siegfried Dohr began his professional career in 1955 as a civil servant in the Financial Directorate for Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland and in 1973 moved to the Federal Ministry of Finance . He was politically active as a member of the ÖAAB and the Austrian People's Party. In 1969 he was elected chairman of the federal finance section, and in 1977 he was appointed to the board of the public service union (GÖD) as a legal officer. His election as chairman of the GÖD took place in 1989, Dohr held this function until 1997, his successor was Fritz Neugebauer .

In 1994 he was appointed councilor .
