Josef Baumgartner (politician, 1946)

Josef Baumgartner (born September 17, 1946 , † August 18, 2009 ) was a lawyer and politician ( CVP ) from the Swiss canton of Nidwalden .

He attended the college in Stans and studied law in Freiburg. He was then a patented attorney in Stans and from 1978 to 1981 a member of the municipal council of Oberdorf NW as well as clerk of the cantonal court. After 1981 he worked as a land clerk for the government council and headed the state chancellery.

In St. Fidelis College Stans was Josef Baumgartner member of the high school connection GV Struthonia and later the old boys' President .
