Josef Bogendorfer

Josef Bogendorfer (born January 15, 1858 in Asparn an der Zaya , Lower Austria ; † October 10, 1925 there ) was an Austrian politician ( CS ) and farmer. He was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament , member of the Austrian House of Representatives and mayor of Asparn an der Zaya.

Life

Bogendorfer attended elementary school and then six classes in secondary school . Professionally, he was active as a farmer in Asparn an der Zaya. He was a member of the district school council and deputy chairman of the district poor council in the Mistelbach district . In the spring of 1911 Bogendorfer ran in the electoral district of the rural communities of the judicial districts Mistelbach and Poysdorf and subsequently belonged to the state parliament during the last state parliament period in the Habsburg monarchy between April 20, 1911 and January 8, 1915 a. He was then from November 5, 1918 to May 4, 1919 a member of the provisional state assembly of the Lower Austrian state parliament. Bogendorfer also stood in the 1911 election for the House of Representatives in the electoral district of Lower Austria 54 and prevailed in the runoff election with 52 percent of the votes against the Christian social candidate Josef Veit. As a result, he was in the Xii. Legislative period between July 17, 1911 and November 12, 1918 Member of the House of Representatives, where he belonged to the club of the Christian-Social Association of German Members. Then he was a member of the Provisional National Assembly as a member of a German-speaking constituency from October 21, 1918 to February 16, 1919.
