Josef Braun (politician, 1892)
Josef Braun (born March 11, 1892 in Maierhof near Stubenberg , † April 6, 1971 in Rossbach near Stubenberg) was a German politician ( CSU ).
Life
Braun came from an old farming family. He attended elementary and advanced training school and from 1932 was a farmer in Roßbach, Stubenberg municipality . He took part in the First World War and after his release he worked in agriculture again.
In 1945 Braun became a member of the CSU and mayor of the Stubenberg community. In 1946 he was a member of the State Constituent Assembly and then from 1946 to 1950 a member of the Bavarian State Parliament . He was also a member of the district council and the district committee, deputy district administrator and district advisory council. From 1954 to 1966 he sat again in the state parliament, this time directly elected to the constituency Pfarrkirchen - Griesbach . His grandfather, Adalbert Braun , was a member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Bavarian State Parliament from 1893 to 1907.
