Josef "Sepp" Buchner (born May 16, 1974 in Traunstein ) is a former German Nordic combined athlete .

Career

Josef Buchner won the bronze medal in the team competition on the normal hill at the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in 1993 . In 1998 he took part in the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano . In the individual competition he could not achieve a placement. In the team competition, he finished sixth together with Jens Deimel , Thorsten Schmitt and Ronny Ackermann .

In the meantime, Buchner is head coach at the German Ski Association, responsible for the youngsters in ski jumping and Nordic combined.
