Josef Hastreiter
Josef Hastreiter (born March 6, 1910 in Konzell ; † after 1972 ) was a German administrative lawyer and local politician.
Career
Hastreiter came as the son of the Gendarmerie Inspector Josef Hastreiter and his wife Therese, nee. Huber to the world. He studied law and graduated from the University of Erlangen with a doctorate in 1936 .
In the local elections in the spring of 1952, he was elected district administrator of the Lower Bavarian district of Dingolfing . He remained in office until the district was dissolved on June 30, 1972 as part of the district reform .
In the election to the district administrator of the newly formed district of Dingolfing-Landau in June 1972, he lost just under 49.8 percent of the vote against the CSU applicant Fritz Ettengruber .
