Josef Honeder

Josef Honeder (born August 30, 1931 in Windhaag near Perg ) is an Austrian school teacher , church historian and Roman Catholic priest .

Life

Josef Honeder graduated from the Bischöfliche Gymnasium Petrinum Linz in 1953 , was ordained a priest in 1957 and then studied history at the University of Vienna . In 1965 he returned to the Petrinum to teach history there. From 1991 to 1996 he was director of the grammar school, after having been deputy director from 1987. After his retirement he worked from 1997 to 2000 as a provisional in the Rechberg parish .
