Josef Kamper
Josef "Pepi" Kamper (born April 3, 1925 in Deutsch Haslau, Prellenkirchen ; † February 2, 1984 in Donnerskirchen ) was an Austrian motorcycle racer .
Life
Josef Kamper lived in Winden am See . From 1946 to 1959 he won 17 national championship titles in the categories of speedway , dirt track and grass track . After his sporting career, he became an entrepreneur with a car repair shop and dealership. Josef Kamper died in a traffic accident.
In 1985 his friends founded a Burgenland sports foundation named after Kamper, which supports young athletes.
