Josef Kurzawski , Polish: Józef Kurzawski, (* March 8, 1870 in Kotlow ; † February 7, 1925 in Posen ) was a Catholic clergyman and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Kurzawski attended the high schools in Rogasen and Ostrowo , the seminaries in Poznan and Gniezno and was consecrated on June 23, 1895. He was vicar in Kościelec (Hohensalza district) and Zippnow (Deutsch Krone district), then vicar and high school religion teacher in Hohensalza and since 1902 Provost in Pakosch . He was also a correspondent for theological journals, Polish and German newspapers, especially in the field of social policy. He was also a member and chairman of several associations and a board member of two cooperatives.

In a by-election on April 7, 1911, he was elected to the Prussian House of Representatives in the constituency of Posen 8 (Jarotschin - Koschmin - Pleschen - Krotoschin) , to which he belonged until 1913. From 1912 to 1918 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency administrative district Bromberg 2 ( Wirsitz - Schubin - Znin ) and the Polish parliamentary group .
